OMG! It is so worth the price of the ticket and the snacks...I've never been so hyped up over watching a movie in a long time...perhaps from Lord of The Rings Trilogy and perhaps the Harry Potter series. But this blows it all away...the excitement I mean for a series that I religiously follow both on the telly and from the movies as well...James T. Kirk, Spock, Bones and Co...up to ST:TNG with Jean-Luc Picard, Riker, Data and so on...and I must admit I actually watched the animated TOS as well. I sort of skipped through Voyager, DS9 and Enterprise by watching just a few and have actually a number (large btw - I'm not counting them) of novels from TOS, TNG, Voyager. So, am I a Trekkie...not really, I mean I don't go to conventions, (maybe b'cos there are none here!) but I do know that the Enterprise call sign is NCC-1701 - NCC-1701 E, I do have the communicators, I do have the specs of the ship...hhhmmmnnn ;p
This will be movie number 7 - with the original names if not the original actors except for Spock, although it is a prequel (in another universe) ;p How the gang all met, Kirk, Spock, "Bones", Sulu, Uhura, Chekov, Scotty. Altogether there are 11 movies (4 with TNG for the math challenged)
